Delivery and Shipping information

UK Delivery

Standard Delivery

Despatch is by Royal Mail or Parcel Force and takes 2-5 working days. Please remember to take Bank Holidays into consideration. Cost £4.99. If you request the parcel is left somewhere this is at your own risk and claims can't be made for lost deliveries.

Express Delivery

Please order before 3.30pm on the previous working day for delivery the next working day. (some postcodes may take up to 2 days, in which event we will advise you). A signature is required for this service, if you request the parcel is left somewhere this is at your own risk and claims can't be made for lost deliveries.

Despatch is by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcel Force. Applicable to most parts of U.K. (excludes Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isles of Scilly):

  • UK Zone 1 £8.99
  • N. Ireland and Isle of Man £15.00

For Parcel Force and Royal Mail Special Deliveries we would normally require a signature. If however, you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, you may authorize us to do so by entering this request in the Delivery Notes box at the Check Out. If the parcel should go missing, once it has been delivered, Cheffings Equine could not accept any responsibility for the loss, so please ensure you ask for the parcel to be left in a secure place.

Alternatively you could request we leave with a neighbour if you are not in, or state an alternative delivery address such as your work address, friend or relative.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • If your order has NOT been received within FIVE WORKING DAYS please call the office as soon as possible so we can track the order and help resolve the problem.
  • Please be sure to fill in the 'COMMENTS ABOUT YOUR ORDER' box clearly stating instructions, especially if/and where you want your order left if no one's in. However, be aware that if an instruction is given to leave an order 'in a safe place' and therefore delivered without a signature the couriers insurance is invalidated. Cheffings Equine cannot be held responsible if the goods are lost under these circumstances.
  • VAT will also be deducted automatically from VAT rated products on all Channel Island orders & those outside the EU.

Overseas Delivery

We are pleased to quote for exporting orders overseas. The cost is dependant on the value, weight and volume of your parcel.

Please note it is your responsibility for payment of any import duties so please contact your local customs office in the country of your delivery to confirm if you are not sure.

 

 

Returns and Refunds Information

We are happy to refund or exchange goods if returned within 14 days of purchase. This excludes personalized and customized products. This period can be extended at Christmas time, and if you find you are unable to return the goods within this period (due to holidays etc) simply call our sales team on 01884 860 046 who will be able to extend this term for you.

The goods must be returned unused, and in the condition which they were sent out. Re-package the goods in the original packaging ensuring the original labels are attached.

Please complete the Return Form enclosed with the goods, and state clearly your requirements, whether you require exchange goods or refund.

Return the goods to the Post Office or other courier, and please ensure you retain a certificate of posting, and that the goods are insured against loss or damage. If you are returning a heavy item such as a saddle, you can give us a call and we can arrange our courier to collect the parcel from you. This will be at a charge of only £5.30 which will be a lot less than the Post Office charge.
